Echo Ranch Bible Camp Classic

We’re looking forward to welcoming Juneau disc golf players to the First Echo Ranch Bible Camp Classic! This is a PDGA XC-tier two-round, one-day tournament, put on by Eagles Wings Disc Golf and hosted here at Echo Ranch, using our 18-hole course. And if one day of disc golf isn’t enough, you can spend the whole weekend with us and enjoy more opportunities to play glow rounds, random doubles, and other games on Friday evening and Sunday morning. It’s going to be a great weekend of playing our scenic course, meeting and enjoying time with other local players, and more!

You have the option to join us just for the tournament day on Saturday (coming Saturday morning and leaving Saturday evening), or to come and stay overnight Friday night and/or Saturday night. If you choose to stay overnight with us, you must register twice: register for the tournament on Disc Golf Scene’s website, and register with Echo Ranch through Ultracamp so we can expect to host you. If you are only coming on Saturday, you only need to register for the tournament. See more info below for the schedule of events, how to register, and more.

7:00pm-9:00pm - Glow round on Echo Ranch’s newly installed 9-hole course
9:00pm-11:00pm - Fellowship and games

Saturday, September 13 (Tournament Day)
7:30am - Breakfast for weekend visitors (provided by Echo Ranch)
7:30am - Tractor and wagon leaves Echo Cove parking lot to transport day participants to camp
7:30am-8:15am - Check in at camp, coffee and refreshments
8:15am-8:30am - Players meeting
8:45am-12:00pm - Round 1
12:00pm-1:15pm - Lunch (provided by Echo Ranch)
1:30pm-4:00pm - Round 2
4:00pm-4:30pm - Games/Awards
approx. 5:00pm - Transportation by boat back to Echo Cove for day participants

Registration Info

The tournament fee, paid on Disc Golf Scene’s website, is $20-25 depending on your division. There is no fee to Echo Ranch, but donations to help cover the cost of food and transportation are gratefully accepted.

Before registering, please see the section below for more information on what to expect and what to bring to camp. We ask that all players abide by our policy of no alcohol or drugs on our grounds.

Questions & Additional Info

  • For those coming just for the tournament on Saturday:

    Transportation will be provided on Saturday morning from the Echo Cove parking lot to Echo Ranch Bible Camp (a 2.5 mile tractor and wagon ride around Echo Cove). Please meet at the parking lot by 7:30am. We will also transport you back to the Echo Cove parking lot by boat in the early evening after the tournament ends.

    For those coming to stay overnight with us:

    You are welcome to hike to camp from the Echo Cove parking lot on Friday afternoon or evening and hike back anytime Sunday. However, if you want to arrange transportation around the cove, please contact us and we can make a plan with you. If you are coming from out of town, please contact us if you need transportation to or from the airport.

  • If you stay overnight with us Friday and/or Saturday night, we will host you in one of our cabins, which have no electricity and are heated by wood stove, and a shared bathhouse facility. You will be able to choose which cabin you want to stay in upon arrival. (If you have a need to stay in a cabin with electricity, please reach out to us to let us know so we can accommodate you!)

  • All registered players will receive a prize pack including a custom stamped Echo Ranch disc. Some other discs may be given out as prizes for the tournament or other games.

  • If you’re coming just for the tournament on Saturday, we recommend bringing:

    • Your discs

    • Waterproof shoes or boots and a rain jacket

    • Additional clothing layers, if desired

    • Money for donations or our camp store, if desired

    If you’re coming for the weekend, we recommend also bringing:

    • Bedding/sleeping bag and a pillow

    • Flashlight

    • Toiletries and towel
